ECO-Chic Events & Couture Beauty
DECOevents ECO-Chic Events & Couture Beauty provides ECO-Savy Event and Wedding Coordination as well as Couture On-Location Hair, Makeup, and Styling Services. After spending the last 11 years counceling clients on everything from hair, makeup and techinique, even life, it was only natural Meghan Donovan and Liz Nunez expand their repertoire into the world of coordinating.
From the coordination perspective, we create unique, ECO-chic events. We pledge to use local and national vendors that have the same environmentally kind morals as our clients and our company. The amount of trash, energy and waste that is created by just one event is staggering. By utilizing ECO-friendly products and services, we keep the carbon footprint to a minimum. Not only do we help the clients vision come true in the budget provided, we keep the event on task from start to finish. Our clients have relied on our expertise to guide them through all avenues of their events. Having them bring us into their lives has been such an honor. So with that great responsibility we are committed to the highest ethical and ecological standing. All documentation is provided in PDF form so not to use and/or waste paper. All vendors that we utilize have the same morally strong commitments as our own. From using as much rental items as possible to introducing clients to vintage consignment shops as a new twist to purchasing bridal attire. The menus we help to choose are local, sustainable, organic cusine from Chciago's top bakers and chefs.
Meghan and Liz call a shabby-chic pre-prohibition beauty located in Downtown Elgin home. The Boutique, suite 111 at The Professional Building at 164 Division St was constructed in the early 1920's and has earned Historical Status. The original building has been cared for and kept in pristine condition making sure that the origanal structure and components are treated with the utmost respect and care in it's origanal manner. The Boutique offers over 700 square feet of private space where we entertain clients, guests, style seminars and classes.
On the Style side of things, Liz Nunez and Meghan Donovan specialize in the highest quality bridal and formal styles, cut and color techniques and crisp clean makeup. The products we choose to use are the cleanest and friendliest we can find with still having an outstanding professional result.
Our passion has led us to a wide array of events. Our clients stretch our abilities from trendy to conservative, modern to period date themes. We strive to make you nothing less then beautiful. Our looks range from unique to chic. Our forte is modern, sassy, classy and confident. We combine luxury and convenience to where ever you need us most. Between the two of us we have 20 years experience in all aspects of the industry. Both of us have been in the for-front of upscale salons and the background of stage and film and take that experience on-location to meet all stylistic needs.
